Son La Waste Treatment Facility, Vietnam

NORPLAN assisted NORAD in the process of considering whether to give a mixed credit grant to a waste treatment facility in Vietnam.

The project consists of new collection equipment for waste, a waste sorting and
composting plant, and a new landfill site in the Son La region. The capacity of the
plant is planned to be 80 tonnes of waste/day. NORPLAN did an appraisal of the project,
assisted with the design and approval of the bidding document for an EPC-contract
and reviewed the evaluation of the bids.
